Facebook Kitchen, Living Room and Yes, Bedroom and Bathroom too

By now, you have probably heard about Facebook Home and how it is more than an app, different from a phone but something that will completely integrate facebook into your life. Or is that, give you life some time while facebook becomes the soul?

Anyhow, not content with just introducing Home, facebook did allow developers to introduced other user-built app environments that will work with your facebook controlled google glass/knockoff. These include

Facebook Wakeup: These are glasses or contacts that you have put on when you get up in the morning to be able to see anything around you. Otherwise everything around you will be a dark blue color, like drenched in octopus ink. All the following apps will run on this device as you switch from room to room.

Facebook Kitchen: In simple terms, this is the app/device that will tell you what to cook or what to eat. It will peek into your pantry and refrigerator and make sure you go to the store or order online with facebook ad partners to buy those necessary groceries or (if over 21) that bottle of wine.

Facebook Living Room: It will show you previews of upcoming shows and events and also take over the job of "Liking" your favorite sports channel or cooking shows etc. Using your credit card, it will also know when to order coke/beer/nachos/subway/pizza etc for you.

Facebook Bedroom: Ahem, well it will order different items and services based on its algorithms. This might include orders of aspirin for headaches.

Facebook Bathroom: From the basic stuff like restocking toilet paper orders, to toothbrush renewals based on visual analysis, this app can stare and various things

How to fool the Public on Black Friday

I was looking online for a GPS and was using one of those price compare sites. In this case, I was looking at bizrate.com and they are a fine site. But one of the links they pointed out to on the GPS category was $18-119 so I click on the $ 18 item - which turns out to be a generic HP Laptop charger (not a GPS) - so that's some software query glitch on the website.

Of course, this is not a big deal. The big deal is how the advertiser/seller USBPHONE actually lists their product pricing. Please check out the image for laughs and do not be trapped into paying more. Geez! a $14 item being sold for $ 18 ??? WTF is all I can say! And if you buy 20 or more, you can get it a penny more than the original price! whew! (the orig link)
Of course, if you are still looking for a cheap Garmin or Magellan - I think Walmart as well as Pepboys have those at the 59-69 range this weekend. I might get the Garmin from Walmart.

Random cute video about Windows 8

Ok, so there are no cats in this video, but one of my friends on my facebook shared this.. and I am sharing it further here..

This video is NOT an OFFICIAL REVIEW OF WINDOWS 8, Microsoft's newest and much awaited operating system. Rather, it is more of how a little kid has learned based on some intuitive and easy to use organization of menus.

Kinda neat.. the dad says that they don't let the kid around the computer too much so don't hate him. Actually i believe his word, as they have other videso of this kiddo playing basketball, walking along the bay etc etc.. So yeah, he is outdoors a good part of his video time in life.. haha

Note to NBC: Get some brains and show big events LIVE

It's Sunday Morons. And when the 100m finals is happening, it BECOMES PRIME TIME. A lot of people who are interested WILL TUNE IN and watch it LIVE. Stop being suck dimwits and trying to control what people can or will not see.

Remember, YOU DO NOT DECIDE "PRIME TIME". The people, the audience does.

I hope your ratings fall, I hope a true online live experience comes and I hope all you "top bosses" at NBC lose ALL YOUR MONEY.

Morons.

Incredible: 1100 Sea miles Racked up by Camera in Ikelite Case

Just read an incredible story about a Nikon camera that was lost on sea in Aruba and watched an awesome video filmed by a sea turtle (filmed accidentally). The said lost camera was in an Ikelite case that protected it from the elements and aided its travel from Aruba to Florida.

The credit for the full story goes to Technology Tell (story here)

The youtube video is embedded in this post but the direct link is here in case there is an error or embedding is removed!

Enjoy folks! I was surprised that Ikelite's facebook page did not show this yet!

Disclaimer: I do not own any Nikon COOLPIX or Ikelite products and I have not been paid anything to write this post up! If you want to help, you can always buy your Nikon COOLPIX or Ikelite products through those links in this post.
